How can i attract firefly's?

I like to look at lightning bugs at night, but i have always wanted to catch one, but i live in a trailer park so there's not many around, does anyone have any tips on how to attract them? and are they hard to catch and do u let them go as soon as u catch them? I'm 20 and have NEVER caught a lightning bug..
