I received email stating i had won a sum of money from microsoft affiliate and was given confirmation number?

the email directed me to email a person supposedly in charge of verifying my winning which i did. i then received email stating my winning had been verified and to contact by email the atty in control of dispersing the winnings. when trying to locate the atty on the web i come up empty handed. does anyone know anything about this seemingly scam attempt. the email i was given was wanebali_llb@yahoo.cn. im considering reporting this to the proper authorities to investigate can anyone give me some insight on this matter?
