M 19 yrs old n dream 2 be a poet but dnt knw whr 2 start 4m and how 2 proceed?

writing is my passion and i love poetry. m pursuing law because my parents want me to do something from which i can at least earn my living. i come from a science dominating family where people dnt entertain any thing like becoming an author or a chef. so m doing LLB for them but i never dream of becoming a lawyer. and becoming a poet is something with no guarantee. but i dnt care about that. i do have my own collection of poems but now i want to bring it into the eyes of world...i have no idea how to proceed now...what step should i take?
