Panda, get another opinion. You need to see a Gastroenterologist. This is their specialty. The know every single part of the digestive systems and the problems that can occur. Not all Dr know what they're doing when it comes to this. I have the same problems, but my Gastroenterlogist has me on a better medication the Prilosec, which it the brand name of yours. It can be bought over the counter and doubled up to become prescription strength. You may need another kind of medication. Burning is the result of acid build up in your stomach and it will cause nausea. I know, I've been seeing my Dr for 30 yrs now. Another most important test a doctor will do for you is an endoscopy. You will be put to sleep and a tube will be put down your throat to your stomach to look at your stomach lining etc. While the doctor goes down, your throat will also be carefully examined to see if you have any ulcers in the esophagus caused by the acid reflux. Stomach acid can cause so many problems but the right medication will help reduce the acid thereby reducing acid reflux. Please, call a specialist because that's who you need. Good luck and God bless.
